I went to Melting Pot for an epialation of the bikinkzone. The lady welcoming me was very kind, as was well as the lady doing the epilation. The epilation itself was very well done, nearly painless, and the lady was superfriendly throughout.
The only thing that slightly bothered me was that the environment did not look superclean. They seem to be reusing the stick for the wax for every customer, there were hairs on my towel, and the used tissues and cotton pads of the previous customers were just lying on the table next to the wax.
As the waxing was so well done and comfortable, and the staff friendly, I still feel more inclined to recommend this place than not. Just do not look around too much. ;-)

I went to the Melting Pot to get a haircut. I just wanted a cut and that's what my appointment was for and that's what I also specified when I came in. I told the hairdresser that I had just washed my hair too. Yet he insisted on washing my hair. I assumed he needed the hair to be wet to cut it. He never mentioned that this quick wash would be charged extra but he did charge me for it. Same with the blowdrying. I didn't ask for it and he didn't ask if I wanted it. He just started doing it and I thought he needed it to see the outcome of the cut and to adjust it.
Besides the fact that instead of 25€ I ended up paying 45€, the service and approach was also left to be desired. I felt rather uncomfortable the entire time. The hairdresser seemed very stressed and didn't take the time to discuss the kind of cut. We decided to cut a fringe which he said he thought was a good idea. Then once he already cut it he starts saying that he shouldn't have done it and that it was a bad idea. Not very reassuring! All in all it was a rather stressful and dissappointing experience and I had to fix my haircut afterwards.
