I scheduled an appointment at my usual nail salon but they were overbooked, so I decided to visit Je Me Sens Belle because I had an evening planned and wanted to give the place a try (given the good reviews). What a horrible experience! I arrived an hour early for my appointment, which neither the workers or boss were aware of. They proceeded to squeeze me in between a client waiting for a massage and nail treatment. The worker only had time to remove my gel set which she did in a rushed manner. During the process, her coworker asked her repeatedly when she would be done with “mademoiselle” and asked for updates on what she was doing with my nails — as if she was doing my nails. After the removal was finished, there were multiple nails with gel remaining!! She did not even remove all the gel. Also, my nails were coated in powder, my cuticles untamed, nails unshapen — there was no effort made at all to make my nails look REMOTELY decent. They proceeded to ask if I wanted a clear polish coat but they put so much emphasis on rushing that I did not feel comfortable accepting. When I went to pay, they charged me 25 euros!!!! 25 EUROS for an awful job, bad manners, and horrible service. I proceeded to ask about a possible discount, and I was given “10% off” for it being my first visit. I can assure you, I will not return or encourage anyone else to visit them. At such a ridiculous price, there should be a certain standard. I have never had such a horrible nail experience in Brussels. I ended up going home and spending more time fixing what they were paid to do than getting ready for my planned evening. Very disappointed!

The staff is friendly and welcoming and the appointments quick - just as they should be! It is easy to book with Treatwell which is a major asset. Would recommend
