After reading the review here, I had quite some expectations before I went there. But overall experience is just ordinary. The stylist doesn't speak much English so communication was difficult. It can be quite uneasy when he started cutting and I didn't really know what I would be getting. There was little to no service, I was not offered water or anything to drink. There was little attention to details, I had hair all over my neck and arm after the cut. but it is a nice place. My haircut was very straightforward, nothing stands out but nothing upsetting either. I wouldn't say it's worth the money I paid and I will not go back.

First time visitor here. As soon as I walked in I was amazed by the lovely interior. For a rather small space it is extremely well used, cosy, and tasteful. I was offered a lovely selection of 'Palais des Thés' teas or coffee. And had about a 10 minutes wait before my turn, which I found reasonable. The two people working there were lovely and friendly (willing to chat if you're in the mood, but will leave you be if you prefer the quiet). As for the cut itself: I have thick curly frizzy hair and normally my haircuts always fall short of my expectations. But not this time!! Louis listened carefully to my wants, discussed a style that would fit my particular face shape and I ended but with a cut that for the first time in years truly wows my friends and that makes me feel unique and trendy. I admit that when I first saw it I was unsure as it seemed so short, but after the many compliments I've received I realised the gamble really paid off and I'm glad I listened to Louis' advice and let him do his thing. (I think it helps that he is curly haired himself!) Now, if there is one down side, I think it's that the price seems a bit high, particularly for a cut and dry that didn't take longer than 20 mins. But the quality is there. My favourite bit though? The big fluffy chowchow!!! (be patient when trying to pet him though, he's a nervous little guy :). I will be back!!!
